The community garden is a place of peace and productivity for the whole community. Contained within it is a woodland walk, flower and vegetable plots, chickens, a flourishing garden, an outdoor classroom facility and to enable the garden to be productive all year round, a large poly tunnel.
The outdoor area has many users including, Loreto College and their Pathways to Independence Department, St Peter’s High School who run a flower enterprise on site, Sacred Heart Primary School who are working with the Countryside Trust to grow vegetables on site and parish volunteers and members of the local community. If you are involved in an organisation that you think would like to work with us, please contact us.
Our garden looks so good thanks to a lot of fundraising and the hard work of our partners and volunteers. If you're interested in volunteering (we're always looking for those with green fingers, or are good with a shovel!) please get in contact via our Get In Touch page.
